Doug's little brother Danny just returned from his mission. We weren't able to go home to welcome him so he came to us! Their mom came too! She didn't want to miss an opportunity to see her grandson. It was so great to see & catch up with Danny. Two years just flew by! It was fun to watch him interact with Gavin. This was the first time they had met.
The weather wasn't all that great while they were here but that didn't stop us from venturing out! We went to Niagara Falls which turned out to be pretty good weather.
We also drove to Palmyra. Of coarse the RM wanted a little church history! :)
Then we decided to go to the Lockport Caves. Some friends told us it was pretty neat & neat it was! It was nice to do something that we have never done before. Now we have another spot of to dos when we get visitors!We had a great time spending the week with family! Gavin loved always having someone to play with. It's moments like these where you realize how much you miss home & family. Thank goodness for airplanes, email, skype & blogs right?!

Rachel! i love looking at your blog! your little boy is so cute. i laugh at how many times you have been to Niagara falls. i can relate with the statue of liberty and empire building! the blessings of visitors and entertaining! i am going out to Rochester in july to see ericka and her new baby boy!
Those caves look interesting! That's nice to have something different to add to the "list" of touristy things to do out here! It was fun to meet Danny!
