Doug & I were married on October 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are currently living in the Dallas, Texas area. We have two sons, Gavin Douglas born September 18, 2009 & Liam Robert born October 14, 2011. We are so happy to be a family of four & love our boys so much! It is always one adventure after another in this house.

No pictures! Can you belive it?!

So I feel like all I ever blog about is our handsome little son, Gavin! I spend the majority of my time with him & just love being able to see him grow & develop. He's my little buddy & I love it! But I think I should do a post on me & Doug. I know, BORING!

So Doug has been really busy with classes & studying & exams. He is doing really well & enjoying his time that he gets to work with actual patients. He has done a few operatory procedures & has come home just giddy about them! Which makes me happy because it gives quite a bit of comfort to know that your husband is enjoying this long road to a dental profession. The semester is almost over believe it or not! There are quite a few friends that are graduating this year & they will be moving away to further their education or start working. It will be sad to say goodbye. It also gets me thinking that there is life past Buffalo. Weird! We are just about 1/2 way through our Buffalo experience already! Time truly does pass so quickly.

I have been having a lot of fun being a mom! I definitely have my hard days where I want to pull out my hair, but I absolutely love being able to be home with my Bubbas! I am so glad that the weather is getting nice. Gavin & I love to take walks around the neighborhood! He loves to be pushed & be able to look out & see everything. I love to get some fresh air, a little sun exposure & burn some extra calories! :) My family has been doing a Biggest Loser competion to help motivate each other to get healthy & fit. I love that it has helped me make exercise a part of my daily routine. I have been really trying to be good with the sweets & treats, but it is so hard! WHY? Why is it so hard to say NO! Anyhow, my friend Steph decided to help me out & we're trying to go without sweets & treats til May. The saying "Out of sight, out of mind" is so true! When it's not around, I don't have a problem or any cravings. But as soon as that candy is opened or those cookies get set out.......BAM! My tastebuds start working! :) Anyhow, sorry for that rant.

Doug's little brother Danny gets home tomorrow from his mission in Brazil. I can't believe 2 years has come & gone. We are sad that we can't be in Utah for his arrival or homecoming. :( But he & his parents will be coming to see us in May! Wahoo!

I am looking forward to General Conference & Easter this weekend! Two great things on the same day. Talk about spiritual high! I am pretty sure the Easter Bunny knows where we live so stay tuned for another update!

Thanks for reading all that too! Whew!
