Back to Buffalo

Well we made back to Buffalo yesterday after a full day of travel. I must say that traveling with an infant was much easier than I had anticipated. Gavin was great on the way to Utah & the way back! We had been told that Buffalo was hit with some snow & low temps before we arrived. I didn't really think much about it since I had been in Utah for the last 3 weeks. OH MY GOSH!!!! First off, our bags are coming out on the belt thingy with snow on them! Second, we walk out of the airport & my bref was taken away it was so cold! Then we get home to find that we have like a foot of snow in our yard. I can't say driveway because our kind neighbor snowblowed it for us! How nice is that?! I was anticipating a FREEZING house, but our good friend Travis went in before picking us up & turned on the heat. We are blessed! I cooked up a freezer meal for us to eat since we hadn't eaten anything but peanuts all day. Needless to say, it wasn't as filling as we needed so off to Wegmans for a pizza & some groceries! Gavin wasn't sleeping that great in Utah & I was quite worried that all my hard work at sleep training had been wasted on the trip. Well, once we got him to sleep he slept like a champ! Didn't wake up til 7:30 this morning! Maybe he just missed his bed. We'll see if it continues! Doug had a hard time getting up for school today. I think next time we'll have to come home a couple days before school starts. Today I have just been putting things away & just hangin out. I have been playing with Gavin lots so he doesn't feel neglected now that he doesn't have constant playtime with aunts, uncles, g'mas & g'pas. Anyhow, I decided to work on tummy time which he still doesn't love. I put him down & this is what happened...

1...He DID IT!!! I couldn't be more proud!

2...Getting a little tired

3...Finished & not wanting anymore to do with this nonsense!

Well we had a great time in Utah with family & friends & I can't wait to share it with you all!
