This was a great weekend! Doug finished up the last of his finals this week & has now completed his 1st year of dental school! I am so proud of him & all the hard work that he put into his studies. Only 3 more years to go!
Friday was a beautiful day! Our trees are getting their green leaves & it is really feeling like spring. We have an apple tree that has blossomed & another tree that has gorgeous little blossoms, but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. Here are a few snap shots I took of them.

Friday night, Doug treated me to the BYU Ballroom concert. It was a lot of fun & entertaining to watch. Doug even enjoyed himself. :)
Mother's Day has been very nice. Doug made me breakfast this morning & gave me some beautiful flowers!
Church today was awesome! We had great speakers in sacrament & I sat in on a wonderful YW lesson about mothers & we finished up the church block by attending a baptism. The spirit was very strong & touched me deeply today. Our friends the Gardners invited us over for dinner tonight & it was very yummy! Doug was a little relieved he was off the hook for cooking. :) It was been a wonderful weekend & I got to spend a lot of time with my hubby!

What beautiful trees you have! So fun to enjoy a gorgeous yard, isn't it. Love the flowers Doug gave you for Mother's Day and it sounds like you had a great one. So nice talking with you on Sunday. Got to be with or talk to each one of my darlings - made my day. Love the gift card to Sego Lily - can't decide to use it after we plant flowers this week or wait until I get back from my WY MT trip when I'll be achy from driving. Choices. Choices.

Your trees are so pretty! Tell Doug congrats on being finished with the first year of dental school! I'm sure he is loving having some time off right now!
Hooray to no more finals!! (at least for a while) I am so happy you were able to spend time with Doug and that Spring is finally here. It was so nice to be in Utah, but I was sad I couldn't see you. If I can save my pennies I might go back solo in June.
