My Sissy Came to Visit!

So I should have done this post like a week ago, but it's just now getting done. Oh well. At the beginning of the month my sister Laura came to visit! We found a killer deal on plane tickets & she agreed that she just couldn't pass up this chance to come. I just felt really bad having her come when the weather is nothing but horrible. It was so cold! We did have a few days of blue skies & sunshine so that helped. We had a lot of girl time because Doug was extremely busy studying for a bunch of exams. But it just gave us the opportunity to do a lot of girlie things! :)

Her visit started out by getting her hair done. She wanted a new color so we played in my studio for the morning. Then we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch & then to the mall & did a little window shopping. We has a cricket & made me some vinyl lettering to put up on my walls. It took us a lot longer than we thought, but it turned out cute none the less. Thanks Laur! I still need to put up the other one though. :)

Friday we all went up to Niagara Falls & I have to say that it was absolutely beautiful! I know I've said that before, but seeing it partially frozen was so cool. Laura loved it & took lots of pictures to document that she did in fact go when it was that cold :)
We had to go into the Hershey & Coke store of coarse. :) That night me & Laura went to the movies! WE LOVE THE MOVIES! We went & saw "He's Just Not That Into You" & both thought it was really funny. After we walked out she looked at me & with a sly look said "Want to go see Coraline?" I was like really? Ya, I guess so. I don't think I have ever seen 2 movies back to back before. It was fun! We didn't really like the movie, but oh well.

Saturday we headed off to Palmyra. We started out by walking through the Smith farm houses & then through the Sacred Grove. It is always a wonderful experience. No matter how many times you've been. We did some temple work & then after went in town to the Book of Mormon Print Shop. We had our own personal tour. We made it there about 30 minutes before they closed thank goodness! We had to make our way to Rochester to make our dinner reservation on time at P.F. Changs. We met up with our friends Steph & Travis. Dinner was yummy as always! We didn't get to do everything in Palmyra so that just means she'll have to come out during the summer/fall to get the entire experience.

She left us Sunday morning to head back to Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to go with her. Laura, thank you so much for coming out! We loved every minute that we got to be with you. Miss you much!
