Post Gross Party!

So Doug & his fellow 1st Years had their first Gross Anatomy Exam last week. It's kind of a big deal too. So they were really excited to have it over with. I guess it has been a class tradition to go out & celebrate & drink the night away. Well, last year a bunch of the guys that don't drink thought 'why should we have to miss out on the celebrating just because we don't drink?' So they had a kegger of their own. Of coarse the idea was shared with Doug & all the rest of the 1st years. So we decided that we should carry on the tradition of the Post Gross Rootbeer Kegger! Our friends the Cardons helped us out in getting a RooTbEEr Keg! I didn't even know you could get those. We had everyone over at our place with lots of yummy treats & rootbeer coming out our ears! Here are some pics of our oh so funny husbands 'livin it up'! Please don't judge us! ;)

Even the little guys wanted in on the action. We're such great examples aren't we? :)
What a sport! Lane is a fellow dental student.
Doug (above) & Bron (below) wanted to prove they were tough & could do it without any help!

SOOO sad we missed it!! We'll have to do it again sometime! By the way, that pic of you and Doug in front of the Falls with the rainbow in the background is AMAZING! You would think it was a postcard or blue screen cuz it's too perfect! Wow! Oh and thanks for inviting us to wings that night- very entertaining!

Who knew you could have rootbeer kegs, but you can! I saw that just last week at a restaurant here. It was actually a restaurant that brews their own beer and rootbeer. So we will definitely have to get a keg sometime (of rootbeer of course) :)

Look how strong Doug is...amazing. What a fun time. Awesome that you can still have a great time without the booze. Fun idea.

Hello Rachel,
You may not remember me, but it is Melissa (Umbreit) Meru from Alta. I saw your blog on Jenn's and thought I would take a look. My husband is in his last year of Dental School at USC. I think he has some friends at the school your hubby is attending.
Good luck with the 4 years ahead they will go by really fast.
I have a blog/website if you want to see so you know who wrote you this message in case you don't remember it is merufamily.com
