Our Future Home
Doug & I went out to Buffalo, New York to start looking for a place we can reside for the next 4 years. We looked at a ton of places from a Duplex, Condo, Townhomes to Single Family Houses. We were beginning to get a little overwhelmed by it all. Our last day there we went and walked through a home that we just couldn't stop thinking about. So...we put an offer on it...and got it! We are so excited to be home owners & can't wait to move in! Here are some pictures of our cute little home:

YEAHHH!!! SO when are you guys moving and when do you close on it? Are you going to be doing a lot of work on it this summer or are you pretty happy with it as it is? I know when we first moved in, it was day and night of working on our house for a month and a half...ours was a lot nastier then yours though! We're so excited to have you coming!
No we weren't... in fact we had a big problem with that. Creed's dad cosigned on our house and he wasn't there because he was in Mexico on a mission. We had to pay a lot of extra money to our lawyer to get power of attorney for him and it ended up being a huge headache. I didn't know it was possible to close without being there... because you basically have to sign things a million times. You'll have to have someone sign for you and pay for power of attorney im thinking. If you've found a better way to o it though.. more power to you! That will be goo dto paint... i think it's only sanitary. You won't believe how long that will take you! But looking back, it's good memories. Real expensive though! Don't worry though... we'll have you guys over for dinner during those three weeks or so! What's your email. I should get it in case you have more questions or you want us to go take some more pictures or something of your house! I know I was SO excited... so you must be too!
Having your first home is so much fun! You will love it! It looks so adorable! We can't wait to come and see it for ourselves!

Rachel! I'm so happy I stumbled upon your blog! Your house is very cute! From one new home owner to another, its so much fun to be able to make it your own. Also its tough being away from the rest of the family, but so fun to venture out to a new state. Hope all is going well and I'm glad we can sort of keep in touch through this blogg :)
I talked my mom into blogging and Adam and his fam have one. I've sort of become addicted to reading other peoples blogs. Its crazy to see whose you come across and what is going on with them. I love to find people from Alta. :)
How exciting for you! Good idea to buy a home, rather than throw away rent for 4 yrs. I like blogging, but afraid I'm not too creative, yet. Guess that will come in time and with practice!
